Job summary

Essential Care Centre SDN. BHD. is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse for a full-time role in Melaka Tengah, Melaka.

You will provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and assist with medical and surgical procedures within a compassionate team environment. The role requires current RN registration, a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Nursing, and 1-2 years of general medical-surgical experience, with strong infection control and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with the relevant nursing regulatory body.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in general medical and surgical nursing settings.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nursing procedures, patient care protocols and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with medical and surgical procedures.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, toileting, and mobility support.
• Communicating effectively with patients and their families to understand their needs and concerns.
• Collaborating with doctors, consultants and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized patient care plans.
• Identifying changes in patient condition and reporting abnormalities to senior nursing staff or medical teams promptly.
