Essential Care Centre SDN. BHD. is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse for a full-time role in Melaka Tengah, Melaka.

You will provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and assist with medical and surgical procedures within a compassionate team environment. The role requires current RN registration, a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Nursing, and 1-2 years of general medical-surgical experience, with strong infection control and communication skills.

• Current registration as a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with the relevant nursing regulatory body.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in general medical and surgical nursing settings.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nursing procedures, patient care protocols and infection control practices.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our nursing team at Essential Care Centre SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in Melaka Tengah, Melaka. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support within our healthcare facility. You will be responsible for assisting with general medical and surgical care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the best possible outcomes. This position is fundamental to maintaining our commitment to patient safety, dignity, and recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with medical and surgical procedures
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, toileting, and mobility support
• Communicating effectively with patients and their families to understand their needs and concerns
• Collaborating with doctors, consultants and other healthcare professionals to implement individualised patient care plans
• Identifying changes in patient condition and reporting abnormalities to senior nursing staff or medical teams promptly
• Ensuring infection control procedures and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients during their stay
• Participating in health education and patient counselling activities
• Contributing to a safe and hygienic clinical environment by maintaining ward standards

What we're looking for

• Willingness to undertake continuing professional development and training
• Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal
