Qualifications

• Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing (with or without Post Basic qualifications).
• Hold a valid Annual Practicing Certificate or Retention of Name.
• Strong knowledge of quality improvement, infection control standards, and a dedication to continuous improvement.
• A team player with a compassionate heart and a commitment to excellence.
• Willingness to work on shifts to provide round-the-clock care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-notch nursing care in line with hospital policies and procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate activities within your allocated unit/ward.
• Keep the Unit Manager informed of any significant incidents or situations.
• Monitor patients' conditions, assess their needs, and provide expert care and advice.
• Collaborate with doctors and fellow nurses to develop individualized care plans.
• Perform routine procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
• Administer medications and treatments as per doctors' orders.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the unit.
• Provide emergency medical care and assist surgeons during operations.
• Foster a compassionate environment for patients and their families.
• Stay updated with the latest in nursing practices by attending educational workshops and conferences.
