Qualifications

• A Diploma in Nursing is required.
• Current registration with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
• At least 2 years of paediatric nursing experience.
• Strong clinical skills in medications, wound care and data interpretation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with families and team.
• Compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
• Able to work well under pressure and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments to paediatric patients according to physician orders and hospital policies.
• Monitoring patients' conditions and vital signs, and reporting changes to the medical team.
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans for each patient.
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Adhering to all hospital safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Participating in continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
