Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a reliable Company/Personal Driver for management and client transportation in Penang. You will ensure punctual pick-ups, manage travel routes, and assist with airport transfers while maintaining vehicle upkeep and confidentiality.

The role requires a valid Malaysian Class D license, 2–3 years of driving with a clean record, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and outstation trips as needed. Based in Penang, travel across states may be required.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Malaysian driving license (Class D).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Company Driver or Personal Driver to Management.
• Good knowledge of routes within Penang and other states in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport management personnel, clients, and visitors to and from designated locations.
• Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off according to schedule and business trips.
• Assist in airport transfers and transportation arrangements for guests and clients.
• Plan and select efficient travel routes to avoid delays and ensure timely arrival.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentability; monitor fuel, servicing, road tax, and insurance.
• Be available for overtime, weekend duties, or outstation trips as required.

• Safely transport management personnel, clients, and visitors to and from designated locations.
• Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off according to scheduled appointments, meetings, and business trips.
• Assist in airport transfers and transportation arrangements for company guests and clients.
• Plan and select efficient travel routes to avoid delays and ensure timely arrival.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Conduct daily inspections of company vehicles to ensure they are in good and safe operating condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentability of the vehicle at all times.
• Monitor fuel levels, vehicle servicing schedules, road tax, insurance, and maintenance requirements.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance issues immediately.

Administrative Support

• Deliver and collect company documents, parcels, and other items as assigned.
• Assist with basic administrative or operational tasks when required.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and travel logs.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Practice safe and defensive driving at all times.
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling management personnel and clients.
• Maintain a high standard of personal conduct and customer service.

General Responsibilities

• Be available for overtime, weekend duties, or outstation trips whenever required.
• Support company events and business activities involving transportation arrangements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Malaysian driving license (Class D).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Company Driver or Personal Driver to Management.
• Good knowledge of routes within Penang and other states in Malaysia.
• Good driving record with no major traffic offences.
• Responsible, trustworthy, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Willing to follow the Management's schedule and work according to the Management's requirements.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
