Job summary

PMG Healthcare Group is seeking a pharmacist in Johor, Malaysia, to handle professional medication dispensing, consultation and counseling. The role requires registration with the Malaysia Pharmacy Board and a solid understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations.

The candidate should be fluent in English and Malay, with Chinese and local dialects considered a plus. Experience in inventory control and purchasing is an advantage; training is provided for those with no retail experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology.
• Registered with Malaysia Pharmacy Board.
• Understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in English, Malay, Chinese and local dialects is a plus.
• Pleasant personality and professional demeanor.
• Experience in pharmacy management, inventory control and purchasing.
• Willingness to work weekends/public holidays; flexible schedules.
• Training provided for candidates with no retail experience; provisionally registered pharmacists welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Professional medication dispensing, consultation and counseling.
• Manage and record poison and stock inventory.
• Maintain good teamwork and communication with branch manager, nutritionist and pharmacy assistant to ensure smooth and effective daily retail operation.
• Assist in basic management and team building.
• Conduct training and performance assessment of the team.
• Train, supervise and monitor sales performance and service.
• Keep in touch with HQ and other branches.

• Full time position only
• Must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology.
• Registered with Malaysia Pharmacy Board
• Sufficient understanding towards pharmacy’s law and regulations
• Proficiency in English, Malay, Chinese and local dialects will be an added bonus
• Pleasant personality and professional demeanor
• Experienced in pharmacy management, inventory control and purchasing will be an added advantage
• Flexible working schedules and willing to work on selected weekends and public holidays
• Candidates with no retail experience are also encouraged to join as training will be provided ** Provisionally Registered Pharmacists are welcomed to apply
