Job summary

Atex Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to dispense medications and provide patient counseling in a fast-paced community setting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with strong software skills and a commitment to accuracy.

The successful candidate will maintain patient records, manage inventory, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software and computer systems is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and good organizational abilities are needed.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients on dosage, side effects, and interactions.
• Compound and package medications as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription files.
• Monitor inventory levels and order medications and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and pharmacy policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
