Job summary

SCG International Malaysia in Subang Jaya is seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive to handle end-to-end commodity trading activities, spanning sales, operations, supply chain and logistics. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and monitoring market conditions to optimize trading performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Commodity Trading or related industries, with exposure to both Sales and Operations.
• Good understanding of Logistics, Incoterms, trading documentation, and end-to-end trading processes.
• Good command of Business English, both spoken and written.
• Chinese language skills would be an advantage.
• Strong commercial, business development, negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and MS Teams; familiarity with AI tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end commodity trading activities, including Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics coordination.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to acquire new customers and expand opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and partners.
• Analyze market conditions and price movements to identify opportunities and risks.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely execution of trading activities and customer satisfaction.
• Achieve sales targets and optimize trading performance and growth.
• Prepare reports on sales performance, opportunities, and customer feedback or complaints.
