Job summary

Temokin Builder Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a driven M&E Engineer to lead mechanical and electrical systems on our building projects, from HVAC and fire protection to power and lighting.

You will review drawings, coordinate with civil, structural and architectural teams, supervise on-site installation, and lead testing and commissioning. A hands-on, detail-oriented professional with 3–5 years of experience and a PE/PMP or BIM experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of hands-on M&E experience in building construction.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD / Revit MEP; MS Project or Primavera is a plus.
• PE license, PMP, or BIM coordination experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing M&E drawings and specs to ensure designs are implemented as planned.
• Coordinating with civil, structural & architectural teams to avoid clashes.
• Supervising on-site installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems.
• Reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and technical documents from subcontractors.
• Leading testing & commissioning (T&C) for handover readiness.
• Liaising with authorities for approvals, inspections, and certifications.
• Solving on-site technical challenges with focus on quality and safety.
• Keeping accurate records — inspections, as-builts, and O&M manuals.
