Job summary

Meinhardt (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invites a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design, oversee power distribution and power systems, and ensure ISO-compliant, high-quality outcomes on construction projects in Kuala Lumpur. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, BEM Graduate Engineer registration, and 4–10 years in M&E consulting.

Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential, with REVIT/AutoCAD proficiency a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; registered as Graduate Engineer with BEM.
4–10 years of experience as an Electrical engineer in M&E consulting.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage electrical design efforts for projects.
Oversee power distribution and power systems design and management.
Prepare detailed designs and technical specifications; produce working drawings.
Conduct site inspections and attend design, client, architect and site meetings.
Ensure compliance with Design Criteria, standards and ISO procedures.
Provide input to improve work efficiency and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
