Job summary

Oriental Coffee International Sdn Bhd (Retail) is seeking a kitchen team member to master basic cooking methods and prepare fresh ingredients daily. You will be responsible for proper storage, maintaining food safety standards and assisting with equipment handling in a fast-paced environment.

You must be able to work weekends and shifts, with at least SPM/ Diploma in a related field and 1 year in F&B. The role offers training, meal provisions, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Master basic cooking methods like cutting of ingredients.
• Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to menu/sop for the station daily.
• Responsible for proper storage of food preparation and storage area.
• Assist in improving food preparation methods based on feedback.
• Perform cleaning duties of the kitchen area, crockery and equipment.
• Maintain food safety standards.
• Familiar with electrical and mechanical kitchen equipment and observe safety precautions.
• Undertake duties assigned by Head Chef & Chef De Partie.
• Ability to work in a team.
