Oriental Coffee International Sdn Bhd (Retail) is seeking a capable kitchen professional to master basic cooking methods and prepare fresh ingredients daily according to menu and SOPs. The candidate will ensure proper storage, observe food safety standards, and keep the kitchen clean in a fast-paced environment.

With at least a Diploma or SPM and 1 year in F&B, you will work with a team, follow head chef directions, and enjoy meal provisions, training, attendance allowances, and potential

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least SPM/Diploma in related field.
• At least 1 year experience in same job role in F&B industry.
• Good team player able to work independently.
• Able to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Master all basic cooking methods like cutting of ingredients.
• Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to menu/SOP needed for the station daily.
• Responsible for proper storage of food preparation and storage area.
• Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback.
• To perform overall cleaning duty of the kitchen area, all crockery and equipment.
• To always maintain food safety standard.
• Be familiar with the use of all electrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen and observe safety precautions when handling them.
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head Chef & Chef De Partie.
• Ability to work in a team.
