Job summary

Digital Edge DC in Malaysia is seeking a Commercial Manager for the Design & Construction team to oversee commercial governance and cost control on data center projects, reporting to Regional Commercial Lead.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Delivery and Corporate Development to ensure cost certainty, contractual compliance, and risk mitigation, with focus on local portfolio in Johor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Eng, CM or related.
• 8+ years in commercial management for data-centre or major builds.
• Strong contract law, cost control & procurement knowledge.
• Familiar with FIDIC and local construction norms.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder mgmt & exec reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply platform commercial management framework locally across projects.
• Provide commercial input during feasibility and design with budgets and cash-flow.
• Maintain audit-ready contract records and amendments.
• Drive tendering, contract admin, and final accounts for D&C in Malaysia.
• Liaise with consultants, JV partners, lenders on commercial matters.
