Job summary

Digital Edge DC in Malaysia seeks a Finance Manager to lead daily financial controllership, close, reporting and compliance with Group policies. The role collaborates with local operations and Group Finance to sustain growth of the data centre platform.

The candidate will manage capex, fixed assets, and tax compliance, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong financial discipline in a capital-intensive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial close, statutory reporting, tax compliance and fixed assets.
• Qualified accountant or accounting/finance degree with strong relevant experience.
• Good understanding of Malaysian statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial close for Malaysia entities.
• Prepare balance sheet, P&L and reconciliations; resolve issues or escalate.
• Prepare local management reporting and analysis with clear explanations.
• Coordinate with Group Finance on consolidation and reporting submissions.
• Oversee data centre capex accounting, CIP tracking and fixed assets.
• Ensure costs are correctly classified and capitalised per policy.
• Support project-to-operations handover from a finance perspective.
