Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in Cyberjaya seeks a Senior Manager, Commercial to lead cost control, contract governance and procurement across a portfolio of APAC projects. You will partner with project directors, delivery teams and legal to drive value while balancing cost, schedule and quality.

The role requires strong leadership, proven multi-project management experience in mission-critical environments, and deep knowledge of contracting forms (FIDIC/ NEC) and procurement best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 8 years’ experience in commercial / cost management within construction or mission-critical sectors.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects or large-scale programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in cost control and financial planning.
• Strong expertise in procurement and contract administration, including FIDIC, NEC, or local forms of contract.
• Experience in APAC markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Commercial and Financial Management: Lead commercial oversight across multiple projects or a major campus, ensuring alignment with budget, forecast, and financial targets.
• Contract & Commercial Governance: Oversee all contractual and commercial activities across project lifecycles, including procurement, contract administration, variations, and close-out.
• Process Improvement & Delivery Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes, tools, and reporting.
• Local Market Delivery: Support and lead commercial activities across projects in the specific market, applying knowledge of local market conditions and standard forms of contract.
• Commercial Risk & Business Insight: Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks with data-driven insights.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Build relationships with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and advisors.
