Job summary

AirAsia is seeking a Senior Manager, AI Strategy & Enablement to drive the AI transformation across the Commercial function in Malaysia. You will partner with Revenue Management, Pricing, Network Planning and Marketing to identify opportunities and deliver high-impact AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Analytics/Engineering/Business or related fields.
• 8+ years in AI, analytics, digital transformation, or related roles.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
• Experience delivering AI, automation, analytics or digital transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI transformation across the Commercial function to boost revenue, engagement, productivity, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making.
• Partner with Commercial leadership across Revenue Management, Pricing, Network Planning, Scheduling, Marketing, Sales and Distribution to identify AI opportunities.
• Translate business problems into scalable AI-enabled solutions ensuring alignment with architecture, governance, and data strategy.
• Drive development and implementation of AI use cases including demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, route profitability, scheduling optimization, and automation.
• Collaborate with ICT, Product, Engineering, Data, and external partners to shape scalable, secure AI solutions.
• Support leadership with AI-powered insights, simulations, automation, and recommendations for faster, data-driven decisions.
• Champion AI literacy and adoption across Commercial through awareness, capability building and change management.
• Challenge legacy processes to reduce manual reporting and modernize operating models.
• Ensure governed AI usage with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Data Governance, and ICT teams.
