Job summary

Akribis Manufacturing is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling, slotting and pocketing in Malaysia. You will interpret drawings, convert specs into G-code, and run tests to ensure first-pass quality.

You will maintain machines to operate safely, troubleshoot issues, and help achieve daily production targets while adhering to 5S practices in a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (drilling, milling, slotting, pocketing, etc.).
• Interpret technical drawings & work instructions accurately.
• Convert job specifications into machine programs (G-code).
• Perform machine setup, test runs & full production runs.
• Ensure parts meet quality standards using measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot machining issues when necessary.
• Maintain machines in safe and optimal condition.
• Achieve daily production targets & follow 5S practices.
