Job summary

RC Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia invites skilled CNC programmers/operators to join our precision machining team. You will program, set up, and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC machines, interpret complex drawings, optimize MasterCAM programs, and maintain documentation according to procedures.

A Diploma or higher and 5–8 years' manufacturing experience are preferred. Shift work availability required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher in any field.
• 5-8 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Strong ability to read GD&T drawings and blueprints.
• 5-axis CNC programming experience preferred.
• Willingness to work a 3-shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce complex parts to exact specifications.
• Create and optimize CNC programs using MasterCAM software.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D CAD models.
• Determine tooling, cutting paths, feeds, and speeds based on material and part geometry.
• Maintain and document programs and revisions in accordance with company procedures.
• Set up, operate, and monitor 3- and 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-precision components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues related to tooling, materials, or programming.
• Build cross-functional teams for quality initiatives and corrective actions.
• Adjust offsets, tool wear, and feeds/speeds as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain and document programs and revisions in accordance with company procedures.

Competency Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field
• At least 5-8 Year(s) experience working in a manufacturing setting is required
• Must have strong attention to detail and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, such as GD&T
• Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• 5-axis CNC programming experience will be an advantage
• Willing and able to work on a 3-shift rotation as required by operational needs
