Job summary

YATAI TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Technician to operate CNC milling and turning machines according to daily production, ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires basic setup, tool setting, and running G-code/M-code programs while reading technical drawings. You will use precision measuring tools to verify parts and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Junior high school or above, preferably in a mechanical-related field.
• Familiar with cutting tools, machining processes, programming codes, and geometric tolerances.
• Able to read technical drawings and operate machining equipment independently.
• Good communication, learning ability, and execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Milling/Turning machines according to production requirements to achieve productivity, quality, and safety targets.
• Perform machine setup, tool setting, workpiece setup, and machine changeover.
• Edit and modify CNC programs (G-code/M-code) as required to optimize machining processes and support production needs.
• Perform machine inspection, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting to ensure stable machine performance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, process sheets, and machining specifications to carry out accurate machining operations.
• Use precision measuring instruments to inspect machined parts and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
