Job summary

Job description

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, or multi-axis machines to produce precision components.

Create detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and machining instructions for operators.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and customer specifications.

Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes.

Conduct test runs, troubleshoot issues, and adjust programs to ensure accuracy and repeatability.

Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle time.

Maintain program documentation and ensure all revisions follow internal quality and compliance standards.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machining processes, tooling performance, and workflow efficiency.

Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality management systems.

Strong understanding of precision machining, materials (metals, alloys, plastics), and cutting tool technologies.

Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and GD&T standards.

Knowledge of multi-axis machining, high-tolerance work, and tight quality requirements.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
