Job summary

VINTECH TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to join our machining team. You will develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines using CAD/CAM software.

You will set up and run machines, select tooling, analyze processes for efficiency, and support quality assurance and documentation. The role also involves training junior programmers and operators and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines using CAD/CAM software.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine settings to achieve the best possible machining outcomes.
• Analyze and improve CNC programming and machining processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
• Diagnose and resolve programming and machine operation issues, providing technical support to operators and other team members.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that all produced parts meet the required standards and specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of CNC programs, setup sheets, tool lists, and other relevant documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to junior CNC programmers and machine operators, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of new techniques and technologies in CNC programming and machining.
• Ensure all CNC operations are performed in compliance with company safety standards and regulations.

Machining Operations: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Tooling Selection: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine settings to achieve the best possible machining outcomes.

Process Optimization: Analyze and improve CNC programming and machining processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve programming and machine operation issues, providing technical support to operators and other team members.
