Job summary

Eternal Power in Malaysia seeks a CNC programmer/operator to read technical drawings, develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM, and optimize tooling for various milling and turning tasks.

The role involves setting up CNC machines, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and monitoring efficiency. You will create 3D models, modify customer designs, and maintain machining documentation while collaborating with Production and Engineering to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and 3D design models.
• Develop, modify and optimise CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, machining parameters and tooling methods for different machining requirements.
• Support CNC machine setup and troubleshoot programming, tooling and machining issues during production.
• Setting up and developing CNC programs for milling and turning operations.
• Prepare and maintain production capacity plans and monitor machine loading to support production requirements.
• Monitor machining efficiency, cycle time, machine utilisation and production performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement machining strategies to improve productivity, quality and machining capabilities.
• Ensure CNC machines and related equipment are maintained according to scheduled maintenance requirements.
• Maintain and control CNC-related documents including drawings, tool lists, fixtures/jigs, NC programs and revision records.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel on CNC operation and procedures.
• Work with Production and Engineering to resolve production issues and improve processes.
• Perform 3D modeling and modify customer 3D models according to requirements.
• Modify, repair and maintain cutting moulds and mould components.
• Prepare production and machining performance reports for Management.

Work closely with Production, Engineering to resolve production issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Perform 3D modeling.Able to read and modify customer 3D model according tp requirement and job specifications.

Modify ,repair and maintain cutting mould and mould component.

Prepare production and machining performance reports for Management.
