Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components in Kulai, Johor. You will read engineering drawings and specifications, and select tooling to achieve dimensional accuracy.

The ideal candidate has experience with CNC machining processes, quality inspection, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Strong record-keeping and routine maintenance are also expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining processes.
• Familiarity with quality inspection and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Commitment to safe and efficient manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling, turning, and/or machining center equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine settings.
• Load programs and make machine offsets and adjustments as required.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM equipment (if applicable).
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition.
• Maintain production records and inspection documentation.
