Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in CNC milling with 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of CNC milling machines and programming.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling and resource management.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Solid quality control understanding and tolerance requirements.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and scheduling software.
• Proven leadership and people development skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Mastercam experience preferred.

About the role

We are seeking a CNC Milling Leader to join BRISDAC TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD in Batu Maung, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimising our CNC milling operations. As a leader in production and scheduling, you will be responsible for managing machining processes, ensuring quality standards, and driving efficiency across our manufacturing facility. This role is instrumental in achieving our production targets whilst maintaining the highest levels of safety and precision in our operations.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating CNC milling operations to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to production schedules
• Overseeing machine setup, calibration, and maintenance to guarantee precision and reliability of equipment
• Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to ensure all products meet specified standards and tolerances
• Planning and scheduling CNC milling jobs to maximise efficiency and minimise production downtime
• Training, mentoring and developing team members to enhance their technical skills and operational competence
• Identifying process improvements and recommending modifications to increase productivity and reduce costsManaging inventory of materials, tools and supplies required for CNC milling operations
• Liaising with other departments to coordinate production requirements and resolve operational challenges
• Maintaining comprehensive records of production activities, machine performance and quality metrics
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the CNC milling department

What we're looking for

• Proven experience of at least 5 years working in CNC milling operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC milling machines, CNC programming and machining processes
• Demonstrated expertise in production planning, scheduling and resource management
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints and specifications
• Excellent understanding of quality control procedures and tolerance requirements in precision manufacturing
• Experience with inventory management systems and production scheduling software
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives
• A commitment to health and safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong in using of CNC progamming (Mastercam) is preferred
