Job summary

WTE OILFIELD SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. in Rawang, Selangor, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support its growing in‑house manufacturing capabilities.

The role requires hands‑on CNC machining, setup, and programming to align with engineering drawings and machining standards. You will ensure quality through inspection, maintain equipment, and contribute to establishing effective processes and documentation within the workshop.

Qualifications

• Certificate, SKM, Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Machining, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor CNC machines and related equipment per drawings and production requirements.
• Prepare and adjust CNC programs, tooling, and job setups.
• Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform machining and cutting operations to meet specifications.
• Support CNC laser cutting and other CNC equipment in the workshop.
• Measure and inspect components using appropriate instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining, programming and tooling issues.
• Monitor tool wear and machine condition.
• Carry out routine checks and basic preventive maintenance.

WTE Oilfield Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Rawang, Selangor. As we continue to expand our in-house manufacturing capabilities, we are looking for a hands‑on and technically competent CNC Machinist who can independently support CNC machining operations and assist in establishing proper machining processes, work practices and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor CNC machines and related machining equipment according to engineering drawings and production requirements
• Prepare and adjust CNC programs, tooling, machine parameters and job setups as required
• Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and material specifications
• Perform machining and cutting operations to produce components according to required specifications
• Support the operation of CNC laser cutting and other CNC equipment available within the workshop
• Select appropriate cutting tools, tooling, fixtures, speeds, feeds and machining parameters
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspection of completed components using appropriate measuring instruments
• Identify and troubleshoot machining, programming, tooling and machine-related issues
• Monitor tool wear, consumables and machine condition
• Carry out routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance

About you

• Certificate, SKM, Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Machining, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant hands‑on CNC machining experience
• Practical experience in setting up and operating CNC machinery
• Knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup
• Able to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
• Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances, machining processes and material specifications
• Familiar with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers and other relevant inspection tools
• Knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters and basic machine troubleshooting
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to quality, accuracy and safe working practices
