Job summary

YLI Industry Sdn Bhd in Batu Gajah (Perak) is hiring a CNC Machinist to operate CNC machinery and fabricate precision parts. You will interpret technical drawings, set up machines, and program machining operations while monitoring production for quality and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has at least 1–2 years of experience, holds either SPM or a vocational high diploma, and is computer literate with machining-related software knowledge. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

Minimum SPM or high diploma obtained through vocational study.
Minimum 1-2 years of related working experience.
Must be computer literate with knowledge of applications related to machining.

Responsibilities

Set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and installing cutting tools.
Operate CNC machines to perform milling, cutting, drilling, turning, threading, grinding and etc.
Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
Program CNC machines using CAM software or machine-specific programming languages.
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for each operation and troubleshoot programming errors and optimize tool paths
Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs to keep machines running smoothly.

An ideal candidate should be able to interpret technical drawings, setup CNC machines, programme machining operations and monitoring production processes to ensure the quality and accuracy of finished products.
