• Review 2D/3D sheet metal drawings and verify dimensions, flat patterns, and technical requirements.
• Prepare and optimize laser cutting layouts using nesting software to maximize material utilization and minimize waste.
• Generate laser cutting programs and ensure accuracy of cutting files, part numbers, and production orders.
• Select suitable sheet metal materials based on specifications, thickness, and production requirements.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve cutting errors, drawing discrepancies, and machining issues.
• Maintain cutting programs, nesting records, material usage reports, and document version control.
• Improve nesting efficiency, reduce material costs, and comply with workshop safety and 5S standards.

Job Requirements

Able to read mechanical drawings and understand sheet metal unfolding and laser nesting processes.

Proficient in laser nesting software and basic CNC laser cutting programming.

Knowledge of sheet metal materials, including mild steel, galvanized steel, and stainless steel.

Experience in sheet metal fabrication, bending processes, or machinery manufacturing is an advantage.

Detail-oriented with good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
