Job summary

Private Advertiser in Penang, Malaysia invites a field service engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and controls on-site. You will provide technical support, preventive maintenance, and after-sales service, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and coordinating spare parts.

You will prepare service reports, quotations, and technical documentation, build strong customer relationships, and support training, safety compliance, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• 0-5 years of field service experience with CNC machine tools.
• Able to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and controls on-site.
• Provide technical, preventive maintenance, and after-sales support.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues and coordinate spare parts requirements.
