Job summary

SME Aerospace Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a motivated entries-level CNC operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate two CNC machines to meet output targets and follow Work Instructions.

This role requires reading WI, working in a manufacturing environment, and performing 100% inspections along with routine cleaning and basic maintenance. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Technical Certificate or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machining is an added advantage.
• Able to read simple Work Instructions.
• Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates / entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 2 CNC machines to meet target output and cycle time.
• Load and unload parts according to Work Instruction (WI).
• Follow the machine schedule provided by the Team Leader / Shift Leader.
• Perform 100% inspection on finished parts based on the Inspection Plan.
• Carry out manual drilling, deburring, and dressing.
• Update daily production output and machine start/end time.
• Report any rejected parts and assist with initial root cause analysis.
• Perform daily machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Support Preventive Maintenance activities (chip/swarf cleaning) with Maintenance Team.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping at the workstation and machine area.
