Job summary

Tonasco in Shah Alam, Malaysia, is seeking a skilled CMM Inspector to operate CMM and verify measurements according to GD&T. You will interpret drawings, run FAI/IPQC/Final QC inspections, maintain records, guide junior staff, and support continuous quality improvements.

A diploma in mechanical/manufacturing engineering and at least 2 years' CMM experience are required. We offer five working days, annual leave, medical and hospitalisation leave, EPF/SOCSO/EIS, annual bonus, training provided,

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience operating CMM.
• Ability to interpret drawings and GD&T.
• Basic knowledge of ISO quality standards.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform stylus calibration and create CMM setup before measurement.
• Run CMM inspections for FAI, IPQC, and Final QC according to planning and ensure efficient machine utilization.
• Generate and verify CMM measurement reports.
• Provide feedback to CMM Programmers on measurement or program-related issues.
• Guide and monitor junior staff to ensure inspection accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Conduct 5S activities and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Interpret engineering drawings including GD&T requirements.
• Support production in troubleshooting dimensional issues.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
