Job summary

MCE Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a FA Technician to conduct First Article inspections, prepare process plans and drawings, and support QA/QC activities in a metal stamping environment.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 3 years' experience. Proficiency in QC tools, GD&T, ISO9001/TS16949 and measurement equipment is essential. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication is a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum Professional Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably minimum 3 years' experience in Metal Stamping Industry or equivalent.
• Computer literate with basic knowledge of QC tools, GD&T, ISO9001, TS16949.
• Able to use measuring equipment such as PP, Vernier caliper, CMM and others.

Responsibilities

• Conduct First Article inspection for new and existing products.
• Prepare process management plan, process drawings/instructions.
• Assist in preparing CP, PPK, GR&R and SPC reports.

Job description

FA Technician role reporting to QA Engineer, responsible for conducting First Article inspections, preparing process management plans and drawings, and supporting quality assurance activities in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Conduct First Article inspection for new and existing product

Prepare process management plan, process drawing / instruction

Assist in preparing statistical quality reports such as CpCPK, PPK, GR&R, SPC

Engage in continuous improvement of quality / standard and keep accurate records

Comply with document control tasks

Assist in dealing with supplier on quality related issues (new program)

Assist in preparing PPAP package

Assist in documentation and filing for QA/QC department

About you

Minimum Professional Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Preferably minimum 3 years' experience specializing in Metal Stamping Industry or equivalent

Computer literate with basic knowledge of QC tools, GD&T, ISO9001, TS16949

Able to use measuring equipment such as PP, Vernier caliper, CMM (with basic Hexagon program), Micrometer, Height Gauge, Angle Protector, Torque Gauge and Pin Gauge

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Valid driving license with own transport and willing to travel
