Job summary

SENA DIECASTING INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented FA Inspector to perform First Article inspections across new tooling and replacements. You will develop and maintain CMM programs, review drawings with engineers, and generate comprehensive FA reports.

The role requires reading technical drawings, CMM operation, and proficiency with CAD software, with a focus on timely sample submission and quality assurance for automotive-grade die-cast components.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to operate CMM and programming.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform FA (First Article) inspection for all new products and prepare tool reports.
• Monitor FA schedules on monthly and weekly bases to ensure on-time FA sample submission.
• Collaborate with engineers on new product development drawings.
• Develop/monitor/maintain CMM programs and inspection methods using various equipment.
• Use CAD software to confirm part drawing details.
• Assist engineers in problem analysis for new FA parts.
• Prepare FA schedules for monthly/weekly monitoring.
• Prepare FA reports after FA measurements.

Job description

To perform FA (First Article) inspection for all new product, whether from new tooling, transferred tooling or replacement tooling and prepare tool report.

To ensure FA schedules for monitoring on monthly and weekly activities to ensure on time FA sample submission to PDE.

To work closely with engineers in new product development drawings.

To develop/monitor/ maintain CMM program and checking method using various inspection equipment.

Able to use CAD software to confirm part drawing details.

To work closely with engineers in problem analysis for new FA parts.

To prepare FA schedules for monitoring on monthly and weekly activities.

To prepare FA reports after FA measuring completes.

To support for measuring calibration for fixtures by using CMM.

To perform any other jobs or duties as and when required by superior.

MINIMUM SKILLS:

• Preferably to be able to read technical drawings.
• Preferably to be able to operate CMM and programming.
• Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Minimum SPM holders or any certificate in Engineering field.
