Job summary

AFFIN BANK in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) seeks a Cloud & Platform Operations Lead to steer the enterprise cloud and infrastructure platforms, ensuring availability, security, and regulatory compliance. You will oversee cloud governance, cost optimization, automation, and modernization efforts, while managing budgets, vendors, and service performance.

This role demands leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration across IT and business units.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
5–8 years in Cloud, Infrastructure, Platform Ops, or IT services.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and virtualization.
Experience with cloud migration, automation, and service management.
Familiarity with ITIL, disaster recovery, and risk management.
Experience managing vendors, budgets, contracts, and cloud costs.
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead admin and support of enterprise cloud and infrastructure platforms to ensure 24x7 availability.
Define platform standards, procedures, and SLAs; govern cloud costs and security.
Drive cloud adoption, migration projects, and modernization programs.
Establish dashboards, performance reporting, and continuous improvement.
