You will oversee cloud foundations, incident management, and automation initiatives while partnering with the Cloud Architect on strategy and technical direction.

Lead the operational continuity of Exact's customer-facing SaaS products across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. This Kuala Lumpur-based opportunity combines cloud operations leadership, technical coordination and continuous improvement while supporting reliable services for hundreds of thousands of users across a global hosting landscape.

What you'll be doing?

• Lead cloud operations teams: Manage teams of specialists across Infrastructure Operations and Application Operations from Kuala Lumpur.
• Safeguard service continuity: Ensure customer-facing applications remain stable, secure, performant and continuously available across more than 25 products and workloads.
• Maintain cloud foundations: Oversee the provisioning of virtual machines, deployments, platform availability and underlying cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments.
• Strengthen application operations: Guide application monitoring, performance optimisation, configuration management and application updates where automation is not yet in place.
• Coordinate global operations: Work closely with Cloud Operations Managers in Delft and Utrecht to align priorities and coordinate incident and problem management across time zones.
• Lead during critical events: Bring clarity, structure and calm confidence during escalations, performance challenges and customer-impacting incidents.
• Shape operational coverage: Help introduce and manage availability outside regular office hours as product complexity, scale and business criticality grow.
• Partner on architecture: Work with the Cloud Architect on technical direction, with architectural decisions reviewed and approved through the established process.
• Drive operational excellence: Translate requirements into technical and operational activities while promoting automation, continuous improvement and reliable execution.

Who are they looking for?

• Cloud operations leadership: Experience leading Infrastructure Operations, Application Operations or Technical Application Management teams in cloud environments.
• Azure and AWS expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure and/or AWS services, hosting patterns, monitoring, logging and availability management.
• Operational tooling: Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, AWS CloudWatch and related platforms.
• Global collaboration: Experience working with infrastructure operations teams across regions and time zones.
• Technical translation: Ability to turn functional requirements into clear technical and operational activities.
• Structured communication: Strong communication skills and a disciplined approach to prioritising operational work.
