The role requires at least three years' experience in cloud administration, with Azure exposure preferred.

This is a hands-on Cloud Engineer position responsible for managing, securing, automating, and optimizing the company's Microsoft Azure environment. The role sits between infrastructure and application teams, ensuring the cloud platform is reliable, secure, scalable, and supports modern software development practices.

Description

• Manage cloud environments to maintain reliable and available technology services.
• Monitor cloud system performance and address operational issues in a timely manner.
• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure to support business applications.
• Improve cloud service reliability through regular reviews and practical system updates.
• Investigate technical incidents and implement solutions to reduce repeat issues.
• Work with the Technology department to align cloud services with operational needs.
• Maintain clear technical documentation for cloud configurations and changes.
• Support the ongoing delivery of cloud infrastructure improvements across the business.

Profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure administration, engineering, or operations.
• Experience managing cloud environments on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with Azure exposure being preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, virtual machines, storage, databases, backup, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
• Experience with identity and access management, cloud security best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, CLI tools, or equivalent.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across infrastructure and application teams.
