Job summary

FFM Berhad, Malaysia, seeks an IT Engineer with cloud experience to support, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. You will design, implement, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and services to support business operations.

Collaborate with IT operations, DevOps, security, and development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions; hands-on with AWS and Azure, and solid networking and server concepts.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
• Experience deploying and managing cloud resources such as compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Solid knowledge of networking and server concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Technical certifications in AWS and/or Azure are advantageous.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer with cloud experience to support, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

This person will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services.

This role ensures cloud environments are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective while supporting application workloads and business operations. You will work closely with IT operations, DevOps, security, and development teams to deliver modern cloud solutions.

A strong foundation in on-premise IT Infrastructure such as server and network combined with hands‑on experience in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS is required for this role.

Qualifications &Experience

3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud engineering

Hands‑on experience with cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure)

Experience deploying and managing cloud resources such as compute, storage, networking, and databases

Solid knowledge of networking and server concepts

Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting tools

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

Technical Skills

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure certifications will be advantageous.

Proficiency in Azure services, including Virtual Machines. Azure Kubernetes Service, Fabric, Storage and Azure Networking, and Security

Experience with automation toolssuch as PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates

Experience with version control systems and CI/CD processes.

Familiar with Linux (Redhat, CentOS)
