Job summary

FFM Grains & Mills Sdn Bhd is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Head of Grains Storage & Operations in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. You will assist in planning grain receiving during vessel arrivals, allocate manpower, and monitor transfers to flour and feed mills while ensuring strict quality and safety standards.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, ISO, GMP, FSMS, and SH requirements, with on-the-job training for fresh graduates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering or equivalent) from recognized institutions.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work in an operational environment and travel when required.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply; experience in grain storage or related industries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating grain receiving activities during vessel arrivals and shipments.
• Assist in planning manpower allocation and work schedules for grain storage operations.
• Assist in planning and monitoring grain transfer activities to the flour mill, feed mill, and sales.
• Ensure proper grain handling, storage, and conditioning procedures are followed to maintain grain quality.
• Implement fumigation and pest control activities to preserve grain quality and prevent infestation.
• Assist in maintaining accurate grain inventory records and stock monitoring.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Department on machinery maintenance and improvement projects.
• Participate in troubleshooting operational issues related to grain storage facilities and equipment.
• Ensure grain storage operations comply with SOP, ISO, GMP, FSMS, and Safety & Health requirements.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

1. Assist in planning and coordinating grain receiving activities during vessel arrivals and shipments.

2. Assist in planning manpower allocation and work schedules for grain storage operations.

3. Assist in planning and monitoring grain transfer activities to the flour mill, feed mill, and sales.

4. Ensure proper grain handling, storage, and conditioning procedures are followed to maintain grain quality.

5. Implement fumigation and pest control activities to preserve grain quality and prevent infestation.

6. Assist in maintaining accurate grain inventory records and stock monitoring.

7. Coordinate with the Engineering Department on machinery maintenance and improvement projects.

8. Participate in troubleshooting operational issues related to grain storage facilities and equipment.

9. Ensure grain storage operations comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), ISO, GMP, Food Safety Management System (FSMS), and Safety & Health requirements.

10. Carry out any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering or equivalent) from recognized institutions.

2. Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

3. Willing to work in an operational environment and travel when required.

4. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience in grain storage, bulk material handling, manufacturing, flour milling, feed milling, or related industries will have an added advantage. On-the-job training will be provided.
