Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Operations Engineer to join our enterprise IT team in Malaysia. You will manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, help ensure reliability and security, and work across Windows/Linux environments.

Responsibilities include IaC with Terraform, CloudWatch monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery testing, and security controls. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver scalable, cost-efficient cloud services.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Information Systems / Compute Science
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
AWS Certified Developer – Associate
HashiCorp Terraform Associate Certification
Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
Experience working within Managed Services or IT Operations teams.
ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure and services including EC2, EKS, ALB, VPC, Auto Scaling Groups
Perform cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and maintenance
Manage storage services, snapshots, backups, and recovery activities
Support cloud infrastructure optimization, scaling, and performance improvements
Monitor AWS workloads using CloudWatch and other operational tools
Investigate and resolve production incidents and alerts
Administer Windows Server and Linux environments
Configure and manage Security Groups, Network ACLs, IAM roles and permissions
Participate in DR drills and failover validation
