Job summary

VAT GROUP is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer in Penang to design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure. You will work with a global team to manage cloud infra, architect solutions, and automate provisioning with IaC tools and CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires strong Azure knowledge, scripting skills, and a solid foundation in networking, security, and DevOps practices. Collaboration with development teams is essential for faster software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud services including VMs, storage, networking, databases, and app services.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, and DNS.
• Familiarity with security best practices and tools for protecting cloud environments.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with teams and stakeholders.

1. Role and Responsibility:

• To work with global team to manage the cloud Infra and implement enhancement on IT cloud system.
