Job summary

RBC Shared Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks a mid-level Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and operate Azure/OpenShift cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines. You will own defined technical domains, create engineering standards, and collaborate with security stakeholders to strengthen the cloud security posture.

You will work with application teams, senior engineers, and architects, applying automation to daily operations and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

3-4 years of experience in cloud, DevOps, or DevOps engineering roles.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and operate Azure/OpenShift cloud services used by application and delivery teams.
Ensure cloud services are reliable, secure, and aligned with internal standards.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and related tooling.
Define and evolve DevOps policies and engineering standards including branching strategies and deployment controls.
Develop and maintain automation and pipeline templates to ensure compliant infrastructure deployments.
Apply automation to operations, validation checks, and compliance activities using scripting and AI.
Implement secure cloud environments following RBC security practices (identity, network, private connectivity).
Collaborate with Security and Compliance stakeholders to address findings and strengthen security posture.
Monitor platform health with observability tools (Dynatrace) and perform root cause analysis of incidents.
Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architectural artefacts.
