Job summary

Royal Bank of Canada Malaysia is seeking a mid‑level Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design, build, secure, and operate Azure and OpenShift cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines. You will own defined technical domains, develop engineering policies, standards, and automated controls in partnership with security and application teams.

This role requires hands‑on delivery, collaboration with senior engineers and architects, and a focus on reliability, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

3–4 years of cloud/DevOps experience.
Hands-on with at least one cloud in production.
Proven CI/CD pipeline design and support experience.
Strong scripting (Python or Bash).
Security controls embedded into pipelines.
Ownership of technical standards or engineering policies.
Translate security/compliance requirements into automated solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and operate Azure/OpenShift cloud services for application teams.
Implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Define, document, and evolve DevOps policies and standards.
Develop automation and pipeline templates for compliant deployments.
Apply automation to day-to-day operations and compliance activities.
Work with security/compliance stakeholders to strengthen security posture.
Monitor platform health and drive improvements for resilience.
