Job summary

SotaTek Malaysia seeks a Senior Cloud/Enterprise Architect to design scalable cloud and network architectures aligned with business goals. You will produce detailed architecture specs for compute, storage, and security, and lead cost estimation and sizing for cloud implementations.

You will review designs, present to governance committees, ensure governance and best practices, and mentor engineers on approved architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop the 'To-Be' infrastructure and network architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Produce detailed architecture specifications for compute, storage, network.
• Prepare cost estimation and sizing models for proposed cloud architectures.
• Design and manage the security architecture, including controls, access models, and compliance alignment.
• Prepare and present submissions to the architecture review committee for design approval.
• Review and validate architecture changes against enterprise standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to administrators and engineers implementing the approved designs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• * Proven experience designing enterprise cloud/network architectures (public, private, or hybrid
• cloud).
• * Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and security architecture principles.
• * Experience with cost estimation and capacity planning for cloud environments.
• * Familiarity with architecture governance processes and committee-based design approval.
• * Excellent documentation and technical presentation skills.
• * Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure
• Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect; TOGAF is an advantage.
