Job summary

Sotatek Malaysia is seeking a skilled security professional to deliver IAM services, conduct cyber assurance, and monitor cloud security threats. The role supports security operations, incident response, and governance-compliant documentation.

The ideal candidate will rotate on standby and hold or pursue certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities to work with leading global technology partners in a dynamic regional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Experience in cloud security operations, IAM, threat detection, or security assurance.
• Working knowledge of security monitoring and SIEM/EDR tooling.
• Understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Willingness to work on rotation/standby basis, including outside standard hours.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail under time-sensitive conditions.
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, CCSP, CISSP, or cloud-provider certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate.

Responsibilities
