Job summary

SotaTek in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned Cloud and Network Architect to design enterprise cloud and network architectures aligned with business and technical needs. You will translate requirements into detailed designs, including compute, storage, and integration plans.

Responsibilities include cost estimation, sizing models, and security architecture design, plus presenting to the architecture review committee for approval. Strong documentation and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud/network architectures (public, private, or hybrid).
• Experience with cost estimation and capacity planning for cloud environments.
• Familiarity with architecture governance processes and committee-based design approval.
• Excellent documentation and technical presentation skills.
• Preferred certifications: AWS/Azure/Google; TOGAF is an advantage.

• Develop the 'To-Be' infrastructure and network architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing enterprise cloud/network architectures (public, private, or hybrid cloud).
• Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in any cloud-related architecture service. Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and security architecture principles.
• Experience with cost estimation and capacity planning for cloud environments.
• Familiarity with architecture governance processes and committee-based design approval.
• Excellent documentation and technical presentation skills.
• Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Associate certification, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect; TOGAF is an advantage.
