Job summary

CÔNG TY CỔ PHẦN CÔNG NGHỆ SOTATEK Malaysia is seeking a security professional to strengthen our security operations. You will handle IAM provisioning, threat detection, and security governance while supporting incident response and assurance activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or IT, cloud security experience, and familiarity with SIEM/EDR tools. Rotation/standby work and certifications are preferred to advance within a fast-growing tech group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Experience in cloud security operations, IAM, threat detection, or assurance.
• Working knowledge of SIEM/EDR tooling and monitoring.
• Understanding cloud security frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Willingness to rotate/standby, including outside hours.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail under time pressure.
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, CCSP, CISSP, or cloud security certs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Identity & Access Management (IAM) services, including access provisioning, review, and governance.
• Perform Cyber Assurance activities to validate security controls and compliance posture.
• Conduct Cloud Security Threat Detection, monitoring the environment for potential security incidents.
• Support Security Operations functions, including monitoring, alert triage, and incident response.
• Maintain nominated certifications relevant to assigned security responsibilities.
• Document security findings, incidents, and remediation actions in line with governance requirements.
• Participate in a rotation/standby schedule to provide round-the-clock security coverage.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in cloud security operations, IAM, threat detection, or security assurance functions.
• Working knowledge of security monitoring and SIEM/EDR tooling.
• Understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Willingness to work on a rotation/standby basis, including outside standard working hours.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail under time-sensitive conditions.
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, CCSP, CISSP, or cloud-provider security certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate.
