Job summary

Medcare Ventures Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified nurse to provide professional nursing care and assist doctors during consultations, examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.

You will perform triage and basic health assessments, administer medications, monitor patients, and ensure infection control and patient privacy in a compliant clinic environment.

We welcome 1–2 years of clinic experience and value teamwork, professionalism, and a proactive approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Registered with the Nursing Board Malaysia.
• Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in clinic or healthcare environment is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, responsible, and professional attitude.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer knowledge and clinic management system skills.
• Ability to handle patients calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients.
• Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
• Perform patient triage and basic health assessments.
• Administer medications, vaccines, nebulizers, injections, dressings, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ conditions before, during, and after treatment or procedures.
• Observe and report abnormal symptoms or emergency situations to the doctor immediately.
• Provide first aid and emergency nursing care when necessary.
• Assist in medical procedures such as ECG, Ear Syringing, Pap Smear Preparation, IV Drip Preparation, Minor Surgery Assistance.
• Educate patients on medication usage, treatment plans, follow-up care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
• Ensure proper infection control practices and use of PPE.
• Maintain clinic operations & support: prepare treatment rooms, clean/sterilize equipment, stock meds, manage registrations and queue.
• Documentation & Administrative Responsibilities: maintain medical records, update clinic systems, prepare reports, assist with claims.
• Compliance, Safety & Quality Assurance: follow MOH regulations, audits, incidents reporting, training.
