Job summary

United Overseas Bank Malaysia is seeking a Client Acquisition Manager to proactively attract new-to-bank clients, promote Privilege Banking and Wealth Banking, and convert leads into acquisitions.

You will build lasting client relationships, manage a healthy sales pipeline, collaborate with branches, ensure compliant onboarding, and drive cross-selling with internal teams to achieve targets and earn performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking sales or customer acquisition preferred.
• Strong communication and networking abilities.
• Knowledge of Privilege Banking/Wealth Banking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively acquire new-to-bank customers and promote Privilege Banking and Wealth Banking propositions.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Carry out monthly marketing calls and outreach to grow the client base and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with branch colleagues and internal departments to meet acquisition targets and support onboarding.
• Ensure all account opening processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and participate in referrals within the bank to deepen product penetration.
• Operate in a performance-based environment with attractive incentive schemes for meeting and exceeding targets.
