Job summary

Vistra in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Associate, Client Accounting to join our team. You will support clients in accounting reporting, under the supervision of the Associate Director, in a full-time, hybrid role based in Malaysia.

Key requirements include 2–3 years of relevant experience, hands-on Xero skills, and strong communication with clients and colleagues. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development within Vistra.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office/ Excel applications.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting functions for assigned trust/client accounts.
• Collect, analyse and interpret accounting records for bookkeeping purposes.
• Prepare full sets of accounts and unaudited financial statements per agreements and standards.
• Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of records.
• Maintain records and perform adjusting entries as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as needed.
