Job summary

Vistra is hiring for an Associate, Fund Accounting in Malaysia. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, this full-time role supports Fund Services with regional coverage from Malaysia, enabling growth and impact.

The role involves recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and coordinating audits, with requirements including an accounting degree and 2+ years of experience. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years experience in accounting role, handling full set of accounts.
• Proficient in MS Office/Excel.
• Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Independent, resourceful, self-motivated and a team player.
• Adaptable to a fast-changing environment.
• Analytical, meticulous and systematic in approach.
• Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Record all accounting transactions and prepare periodic work papers, management accounts, financial statements, capital accounts and NAVs.
• Prepare bank account reconciliations.
• Prepare consolidation workings and accounting packages.
• Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
• Prepare waterfall and equalization workings.
• Coordinate annual audits.
• Draft annual financial statements and related FRS/IFRS/US GAAP disclosures.
• Undertake general administration and other projects as assigned.

• Coordinate annual audits
• Draft annual financial statements and their related FRS/IFRS/US GAAP disclosures
• Undertake general administration and other projects as assigned.

Key requirements
