Job summary

Vistra is seeking a Team Lead - FA based in Malaysia to oversee and drive the end-to-end accounting function for clients. You will lead the local team, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and coordinate with Operations Manager and Practice Lead.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, on-time delivery, and process improvements within a hybrid Malaysia office setup. Prior SSC or client-service leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end accounting functions and interaction.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting.
• Experience leading a team in an SSC or client-service environment.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accuracy and timeliness of accounting reports by the team.
• Plan engagements and allocate tasks with clear goals and deadlines.
• Respond to client inquiries on accounting and operations matters.
• Manage the closing process and reporting systems for clients.
• Identify risks and implement appropriate actions.
• Attend client/management meetings as required and ensure SOP adherence.
